Larissa Vaz on the part that does not scale.
Ok, don’t go nuts over this, but I am here to say that the most valuable skill in business is storytelling, and AI fluency comes second.
The more I integrate AI into creative operations and systems, the less I think of it as an entity and the more it feels like a collaborator inside the craft. Phew.
That feeling made Scott Galloway’s reminder on Diary of a CEO really land. He says the most valuable skill in business is storytelling. I agree. For anyone selling ideas, and that means communicators, advertisers, sales professionals, all of us: people buy the story you tell about the product, the service and the strategy deck, and the relationship that makes them trust it.
Which, wait for it, is the unscalable thing. Ha! AI can write the deck, map the accounts and draft the email. It cannot make a buyer feel something. That part is still us.
AI is a tool. The story is still yours. The relationship is still the work. Invest in the part that doesn’t scale. It compounds.
